BuildQuote fees and building-work invoices

This page concerns fees for the BuildQuote software. For a building-work invoice created by a trade business, contact the business named on that invoice. BuildQuote’s software policy does not replace your contract with that business or your statutory rights.

Current subscription status

BuildQuote’s application currently holds manual subscription records. It does not provide automated subscription charging or a functioning self-service subscription cancellation system. A plan or monthly amount shown in an admin record is not evidence that payment has been taken.

If you have been charged under a separate agreement, send the reference, date and amount to your BuildQuote contact or in-app Help. Do not send card numbers or security codes.

Cancellation and refund requests

Contact your BuildQuote contact or in-app Help to request cancellation, report an incorrect or duplicate charge, or request a refund. Include the business/account email and the relevant invoice or payment reference. Tell us the outcome you want. Do not assume a support request has cancelled a recurring payment until the cancellation has been confirmed.

Any paid subscription must disclose when cancellation takes effect, whether access continues to the period end, renewal dates, any minimum term and the refund rules before purchase. Refunds must follow the agreed contract and applicable law; no blanket “no refunds” rule is proposed here.

Consumer rights and future launch

Where a customer is legally a consumer, statutory cancellation and service-quality rights apply where relevant. Merely labelling an account “business” does not remove those rights. Online service contracts generally carry a 14-day cancellation period; rules for early service performance and digital content differ and need to be correctly applied to the offer. No waiver is collected by this draft.
